Associate Director (Event Planning)

Company Info: We are looking for an Associate Director to help our Client deliver conferences and events throughout the APAC region

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities for sponsorships
  • Provide strategic leadership to develop event proposal, concept, communications plan, final briefing and post event debrief and analytics with event partners
  • Build a complete working plan for the event
  • Assist the Director to drive event team operation efficiency and new business development
  • Distill the brand & marketing strategy and develop effective and innovative event concepts
  • Develop competitive analysis and formulate strategic business plan
  • Manage profitability of the business

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Graduate
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in event management; at least 5 years in managerial grade
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Conference Services
  • Previous experience required for management of people, complex problems, conferences set up, efficient sales activities, event sales sponsorship
  • Experience in Tech conference/ APAC region/ connection with China (for event sponsorship) will be a huge advantage
  • Strong communication skills in English
